I want to use a lee loader for a Mosin Nagant 91/30 7.62x54mm. Probably need .312 or .313 cast bullets. Haven't slugged the barrel yet. Will the loader provide enough expansion to fit the bullets or do I need extra flare?

I haven't used a lee loader for many years and then only for handgun ammo. If the loader works for the Mosin, I want to get one for .303 as well.

Thanks for any help.

For cast, you will need to flare the case mouth. If your kit doesn't have a flare tool, they are easy to make. And, yes, the Lee works great on the Moisn & .303.
