I have a CH Autochamp MK IV that I boughtused and have operating fine.

I am interested in putting a Lee bullet feeder on it
90287

I noticed in the Lee instructions that the seater die needs to be shortened and have a chamfered bottom on it to work with the feeder. I am loading .45ACP with CH dies, do you think I could cut the die on the lathe to work?
see page 2 of the instructions

Thanks for your thoughts

Steve,

If you have room on that press, before I messed with the Lee setup and it's inherent "issues," I'd look into a Hornady bullet feeder die with a plastic tube on top. I have three of the Hornady's I've modified (google) to feed cast boolits. They work quite well once tweaked and don't have plastic fingers to bend and cause issues.
