Sold wifes old cook range at the salvage yard, while there checked the lead supply. Thay had a 2/3 full 5gal. bucket with misc. lead (50lb all together) got it for $16.
Got home and sorted it. 30 lb lino/mono-5 lb wheel weights-15 lb pure lead. There is another bucket that had what looked like barbell weights. They rang like bells when dropped on the floor. Did they make barbell weight from any type of lead mix??? some 10 lb some 20 lb in weight and rang like a bell, could scatch with a knife blade with alittle pressure. Any thought as to help me decide if I want to get them or not. I don't know if they were high in Sn/Sb or what.
