Looking for information on the 22 Corbin Flea. It was developed by Dave Corbin In the early 70's, he wrote an article in one of the Gun Magazines might have been reprinted in annual for that year. Would like to know which magazine name and date. It told how exactly he modified a Browning !922 to fire it. He has some information on his pistol grip site he used longer heavier slide extension. Some where else said he used a stronger recoil spring. Would like the magazine it had more exact information. Contacted Dave Corbin by email several years ago but he no longer knew which magazine and only remembered generally how the Browning was modified. I have several 1922's and would like to modify one to 22 Flea

Thank You, Thank you
I've been trying to get this information for years. The most I expected from my post was that someone would remember the name of the magazine. You not only gave me the name and issue but a link to a site with down loadable files for it. My printer is down. I drove to town and the library and used their computer to print it out. I have it now!! Thank you

An observation:
The described modifications ot the M1922 seems to use a less Than Full Possible Length barrel as the Muzzle is shrouded by the bushing in the slide.
Perhaps making the barrel longer would add some performance to the round without needing more propellant to get it.
As it is a 'bottle-neck' design it is not of great interest to me in my Experiments with straight wall cases.
Good luck, and happy shooting, to you in your experiments.
Best Regards.

A little off topic but I saw the picture of the M-19 S&W on the cover and fell in love all over again. Had to go get my M-66 and fondle it a bit, then send a box or so of ammo down range. It is my second favorite handgun, just a tiny bit behind my 8 3/8" 629.
