300 grain boolit in Super Redhawk

Will a Super Redhawk stabilize a 300 grain boolit? My old Marlin lever action would not.

Should be no problem, honestly I can't think of a 44 mag revolver that will have trouble stabalizing a 300 gr cast bullet, and you should have no problem going heavier if you desire.

You bet.... And larger.... Try the 310 mold from lee....

Dont forget to slug your bore, so you know how to size them 300 gr + boolits......

The SRH 44 Magnum and SRH 454 Casull will each shoot 300+ grain bullets very accurately (I have both).

yep, my SRH 44 mag will shoot my 320 grain bullets accurately. It's the little stubby bullet on my avatar.

My SRH 45/454C shoot my 310 gr LFNGCHP boolits just fine.89690

It's the middle one. The oneness the right is a 330 gr LFNGC

Oh yes, my best is a home made mold boolit at 330 gr. 1-5/16" at 200 yards and a ton of dead deer.
The Lee 310 is super.
The Marlin has the wrong twist.
You need about 1300 fps to a little more. My SBH and SRH loads are 21.5 gr of 296 for the Lee 310 and 320 gr LBT. My 330 gr is 21 gr. I use only a Fed 150 primer.
Those are cast loads, if you use jacketed, the Hornady XTP is 20.5 gr of 296.

I had a Super Redhawk which I won at a shooting match and shot only 300 gr boolits through it. Took it to the Nationals, long range pistol silhouette. Took 2nd place in the revolver category. Never had a problem with that gun.

Lee C429-310 has been the most accurate Boolit out of mine.

Hornady's 300 coated does well also, but NOT like the Lee
