View Full Version : Ran across some "old stock" bullets today..

Maxi balls .36 to .58 and the old .410 gr hornady great plains bullet everyone loved so much..I cast my own stuff but I couldent resist picking up those .410 gr plains bullets...They had plains bullets in .58 too..I love finding stuff like that at old gun stores :mrgreen:

i understand the feeling. do you ever run across a nipple called accushot or something like that. they used a large rifle primer and had a screwed on cap. i use one now which uses a 209 primer, but i sure liked the ones that used a large rifle primer. i know they are out their gathering dust and i would like to buy a couple of them with american threads. never know?

Well, I couldn't find the large rifle primer one, but I did see some links to old ebay auctions for them. I'd just try ebay from time to time if I wanted one of those.

johnson1942, I went through some of my ML stuff a few minutes ago thinking I had one of those nipples you're looking for. I was right, I did have one (see pic below) and will send it to you if you're interested and if you'll PM your name and address. It fits 1/4 x 28 threads and takes either a small pistol- or small rifle primer and was marketed as "Flam-N-Go" sometime in the 1980's.
