Howdy all!
I figure I've probably found the wrong place to introduce myself but here I am.
I'm just returning to the land of cast boolits after a brief sabatical (raising kids).
I shoot:

45-70
40-65
40-70 SS
32-40
30 US
.308
25-20
357/38
41 mag
44 mag/spl
All in cast boolits! Some even use Black powder (that's another long list)
I'm happy to have joined up and hope I can contribute!!!

Welcome Revor. You made three good choices. Raising a family [ family that shoots together help clean guns ] Ha ! Back into reloading, casting and of course joining up here with a great group of folks.

Yep it is a nice collection of naked lead tosser's, lots of old Winchesters and Marlin's (even a couple of Ballards)
I used to play Cowboy action and BPCR silhouette years ago! Hence the love for oldies.
I'm out here on the north end of the front range of the rockies in Colorado.

I like your choices in old, classic calibers. Don't know where you are,but if you ever make it to West Virginia I'd be happly to burn some red meat over a real wood fire and let you try ringing the gongs before supper.

All those cartridges will do well with cast at various levels from mild to
original full power, the great majority will develop full power with cast,
as they originally did.
