BP Lubing with a 4500

The other day I needed to load up a couple of hundred BP 38 S&W for several tip-up revolvers I have. I decided to size and lube the boolits with my 4500 instead of pan lubing. Of course the 4500 was full of Jake’s Scarlet lube. Oh well, it hadn’t been cleaned for a while so I decided clean it up and boiled out the Jake’s and put some homemade BP lube in.
Okay, all done and now I had to go through the whole routine again to get the Jake’s lube back into the 4500.
Just about then I decided I need a second luber/sizer for BP lube.
Checked GunBrokers and the prices where out of sight so I looked on evilbay.
Guess who’s the new proud owner of a Lyman 45!

That is the solution I found to be the best. Two lubers simplifies and speeds up life immensly.
My BP lubber runs Olive oil and bees wax in variable % according to temperatures.

Great job! I have two 450's, one from black powder and one for Alox. Then I decided to just run SPG through both. It's great having two. Some stinking little part breaks and your down until the replacement part is received. With two your gun bench is always running.
