My daughter lives with her mom and stepdad, which I approve of. It is a long sad story that I don't have the time or desire to share, however we went to the range Thanksgiving day morning. Brought wifey's. 22lr Henry and her Ruger MkIII. Set up gravel filled 5" cubed cardboard boxes at 25yds or so and she was able to hit'em reliably with both the henry & ruger plus she had a good time. She is a weird "emo" girl. She previously claimed that her hair did not block her vision however at the range she was willing to accept my ballcap to keep her vision sharp & clear. Just wanted to share a fun successfully story about shootin' 'n sharing with someone who has little firearms exposure. Just trying to turn another one to the "dark side" of shooting sports.

Sounds like she is well on her way to the dark side. lol Have fun with her while you can. My daughter got to come up for thanksgiving (in her 30's) The first thing she did was lay her S and W 357 carry gun and holster on the file cabinet. lol Kind of makes one proud. lol

I think these hairstyles will explain it pretty well Bill.

Aric, congrats on getting her shooting. Dont worry about the "weird emo thing", its what teens go for "shock factor". Don't judge a book by the cover, been through it twice, and they both turned out just fine. Cherish every moment.
