Do I need a heater?

I finally got my second Star and am having issues with it. My first is set up to run black powder lube and it's a fairly soft, melt in your hand lube. For the new star I'm using a 60-40 mix of bee's wax and Vaseline with a tea spoon of STP fuel treatment, with a blue crayon so I know what it is. I'm having issues with fill and have to really crank the screw down to get any flow, and if not careful get some blow by on the nose. If I knock the bullet out of the die the lube will creep out slowly and make a bit of a mess if I don't back off the screw. I've ensured that the bullets are centered on the die holes.

A quick fix to see if heat is the issue try a hair dryer to warm it up a bit. Usually no need for max pressure on the lube pressure spring.
