12 gauge ush with Lyman sabot. Turned heart into mush. 44 grains blue dot ,12r wad , win aa hull , fed 209a primer and fold crimp. Straight on chest shot. Clean thru and thru one end to the other about 25 yards.

i think the 12-R wad he is referring to is the remington r-12L designed for 1 & 1-1/8th oz shot loads.

Winchester made a 12R wad which works well but hard to find around here.

Hello Jason F, I have been looking for those Win. WAA12R wads for years wanting to test and measure them against other wads but have been hard to come-by.
It was nice and brotherly of you to give them to brother BikerBeans, Thank you as I now have some after years to check.

Very strange but true Good things are short lived, Winchester did not think highly of them to continue selling them any more.
