Does anyone know what years the different Lyman mold boxes date to?

I've got an Orange box with metal corner reinforcements, a black and white cardboard box, and one of the current plastic boxes.

Thanks -

VooDoo,

That a question I wished I had asked Doug (Floodgate) when he still was posting here.

I'm trying to date Lyman products too. Information is pretty scarce at times, and even information from the factory is inadequate. If your orange cardboard box says "Ideal" on it, it's no newer than the late 1950s. Black and white? Are there gray stripes on it too? If so, they're only marked as Lyman, and are from the 1960s era. I believe the plastic boxes came into use in the 1970s, and are still in use today. My first Lyman molds were in plastic in the early 1980s.

I got my first Lyman mold in 1977 and it came in the black& white box. I always call it the zebra box.

Found a post which said the orange boxes w/metal corner reinforcements were pre-1967. My black and white box is actually black and grey I guess.
