View Full Version : Hornady 07 press
Have a line on this with 9 sets of dies, powder dropper, balance scale and some other goodies. Asking $275. Obo. What is the press worth? I think it's a basic single stage press?

It is an older entry level machine. The "07" had a single linkage bar to the frame, and the "007" had two. It's a good medium duty press, but replacement parts availability might be a bit iffy. If it's perfect, it could be a great deal, but if it's sloppy, pass on it. I wore out a 007, but it took decades to do. Hornady has no long term warranty on them at all. If the dies are worth the price alone, I might do it, but I'd really have to have a specific need for everything. Used premium dies like Hornady usually run about $25.00 for a two die set, and $35.00 for a 3 die carbide set, assuming great condition and desireable calibers. Is everything listed Hornady?

$20/die set ...$180
$50 powder measure...$230
$45 scale ...$275
Press and extra goodies thrown in.
Pretty fair deal if you can use any of it and pass along what you can't.
Here's the list.
