does anyone know a good place to get Antimony powder. I found ingots for $7.99lb, but dont know how hard it would be to break up.

The best place would be www.theantimonyman.com. Call him and talk about a trade of your bars for his powder. He might have the equipment to make dust out of your stuff on a professional basis. Do not do this at home. ... felix

Linotype is about $1.00 an lb. Antimony is $1100 an lb.! WW is .40 an lb at my local recycler. If you put 1 lb antimony in with 10 lbs pure (say it costs $1.00 per lb) you end up with 10% antimony lead costing $2.00 per lb.. Linotype is $1.00 per lb and has about 12% antimony AND 6% tin. These prices are beat all the time by people on this board, this is just to show how expensive pure antimony really is, relative to other sources of antimony. WW is about half the antimony of Linotype, and most boolit purposes will be okay with Wheelweights (6% antimony 1/2 % tin). If you keep a lookout you can get wheelweights anywhere from free up to $1.00 an lb..
