My friend Don came with his 270. We froze to death in the morning and seen nothing. We heard shots from somewere and a deer ran into where we hunt, Don seen it go into brush but not come out. I went to get him and he told me so we went to look. Found a 5 point dead, gut shot and a front hoof destroyed but not from a pass through. Nobody came looking for it and we don't know who shot. I told Don to take it.
We went back at 3 and he shot a nice deer. I seen him get down and find the deer and cut. I stayed put and looked behind to see a nice button buck coming to me. Had to twist all out of shape to get on him. I shot for the neck with my .475 BFR and a 420 cast. Dropped it without a kick.
