View Full Version : Left-handed ladle?

I know that one of the companies (RCBS?) makes a ladle with threads on both sides (for right and left-handed application.)

I'm wondering if the threads would be soldered tight from leaving a dipper in the pot... as I see quite a few of them on flea-bay.

Cheaper is always better (for the same product.)

Lyman's new dipper is also threaded for both hands. It has a thread protector to plug the hole not being used. Don't know if they solder shut but a little heat would undo that.

Yup if it is just heat up with a propane (or other) torch and unscrew.

Or simply let it sit in a pot of melted lead for about 30 seconds.
