I did some horse trading and ended up with a nearly new Smith 29-2. I am having problems finding the date of manufacture on the net, and am hoping someone with the Smith Bible can help me. It is the 8 3/8 barrel and has target hammer and trigger. This is my first fine Smith revolver and am very excited. I have always been a Colt guy (maybe I always will be), but I can see why guys fall head over heels for these things.
Here is the SN: N4413XX
Also, I have not tooled up for this thing yet, so if anyone wants to do some trading, I have a couple of nice Lyman 2 cavity .358 moulds if needed. I also have a neat old ideal boattail .452-235. It accepts a .45cal GS which makes a nice lube groove. I have a couple of roundball 2cav Lees as well, although I am not exactly sure of the size and it is damn cold in the garage for a midnight run.
