Hi fellow casters
Ive noticed my lee .356 125 2R mold drops at .356 if I water cool my boolits
If I air cool them they seem to come out at .3575
Does it make a difference or has something else changed here

Same alloy cast at the same mold/pot temp measured the same amount of time after casting in the same room temp with a micrometer and not a caliper?

How are you measuring? I am not convinced that this is possible without
other changes like alloy or casting temp or how tight the mold is closed, but
perhaps it is possible.

Same questions that cbrick asked? Anyway, sounds like you are casting for a 9mm? If the boolits are actually .3575 then that's probably a better size for the 9mm than .356. I size my 9mm boolits to .358 to prevent leading.
