My brother just toured the TechShop Location in Texas and was vary impressed. He just wished it wasn't a two hour trip to access it.

TechShop gives ordinary people access to high tech machines and tools for their own projects, for a price. For all the advanced do it your selfers who wished they had access to a CNC Mill, water-jet cutter, 3 D printer, CAD software, or other advanced "Toys". Here is the web site maybe one will be coming to an area near you:

Looks like it would be a force multiplier for city's and areas who want to encourage invention and entrepreneurial type business.

Wow, that would get a lot of shade tree mechanics and dreamers a place to make things a reality. Too bad there isn't one here in the middle of the country, St. Louis. I am sure that there are lots of people out there like me, that have dreamed up a gizzmo or two and can't afford the machinery to get a prototype built.

Chandler about 30 min ride from my home - hmm
- $200 for a form 1
- and one month time with their tutelage and I can have a new suppressor.

:-) I feel a project coming on for 2014.
