My brother just toured the TechShop Location in Texas and was vary impressed. He just wished it wasn't a two hour trip to access it.
TechShop gives ordinary people access to high tech machines and tools for their own projects, for a price. For all the advanced do it your selfers who wished they had access to a CNC Mill, water-jet cutter, 3 D printer, CAD software, or other advanced "Toys". Looks like it would be a force multiplier for city's and areas who want to encourage invention and entrepreneurial type business.
