There are custom makers building one off rolling blocks out there. A fine rifle and a ball to play with. I have saw the Lone star conversion to side lever operation it is really interesting. I have a Hepburn from C Sharps and while it is a fine rifle and a beautiful example of the gusmiths craftsman ship, its not a rolling block. The block is very similar to the falling blocks operated by the side lever. I enjoy my Hepburn Sharps and rolling block. The rolling block is being rebuilt to be a 38-55 with a green mountain barrel. Tree bone stock and forend, and will be sending the trigger out to have tuned when the rest is done. A good gusmith is capable of building a very fine rolling block.
