View Full Version : Nuclear medicine collimator alloy?

Does anybody out there know what alloy a collimator from a nuclear medicine camera would be. It fails the fingernail scratch test but doesn't quite ring when hit with hammer. Iwould think they would be somewhat harder than pure lead since they are on and off the camera for different studies.

my understanding is they are generally on par with wheel weights.
