Ok... I have gotten some dum dog pics over the years.... See if you guys can top this near death experience from a couple years back....

This is a very dumm pup... Almost got himself deep six'ed as eagle bait.. Turns out, the eagle did not kill the tourists pup although he could have easily done so... Happened many times around here with ankle biters and cats... That eagle must not have been very hungry.

that's not exactly what i'd call a dumb dog ... that lil pup has alot of heart - hope he keeps it as he matures !! he recognized danger and my not of been smart enough to seek cover but faced it , i may call him foolish ..but with alot of heart , have to agree tho a great foto !!

He never knows what I'm saying(outside of commands) but I wouldn't call him dumb.

He was smart enough to realize that it was time to go inside once I put the cords away.

And this is the look I got when I told him I was cutting his "best friends" off(he still has them)

Pics aren't high res because I size them down for photobucket.

Too bad I don't have a pic, but our chessie would retrieve rocks from the water. Once he had one that was so big he could barely get it out of his mouth. He also had a bad habbit of barking at and approaching moose. That could have gotten him stomped more than once.

Best dog I've ever had, and unfortunately we had to put him down last month. He'd had cancer for a year and it just wasn't fair to let him get to the point where he'd be suffering.

Better times

Here is my pet hippo. She is 7 years old ad we've had her since she was smaller than her own head is now. That's her with her partner in crime (my daughter).

Can't call her dumb, stubborn yes, but not dumb. The night before she taught a couple of coyotes that it was not wise to enter our yard.the shaved patch on her leg was from her first dental cleaning at the vet earlier in the week. Btw my wife is a True Blood fan, so she is named Sookie after Anna Paquin's character.

My 90 pound lap dog. This kind of thing was cute at 10 weeks and 18 pounds... Not so much anymore...

Great Pyrenees mix, was 14lbs at 6 weeks, this is him at 7 weeks, adopting him from a shelter, should have him by the end of the week. My pack of Chihuahua's needed a big brother. Should top out well above 100lbs...

All the discussions on the Great Pyrenees breed got me wanting one, wife found this litter at a shelter, was the right way to go.
