I am very sad to report that my wife made a couple of batches of these today. Anyone who has seen these on our kitchen counter today gets pretty much the same response from me - " I doubt you would like em - They aren't very good" . My wife and I both thank you for this recipe - Although I think it may mean trouble.

Wow! Sorry you don't like them. Everyone who has tried them here over Thanksgiving loved them, matter of fact they ate every single one of them.

Trey - That was just tongue a check for Stay away from my cookies. I guess the humor did not translate over the internet. If I tell people that they aren't very good or that they probably won't like them - That means there are more left for me. All said with a wink of course. Problem is they are too darn good for my own good - And my wife loves them as well.

AH HA! I was slow on the uptake! well I'm glad you and yours are enjoying them.

I have modified the recipe twice now. Make it the exact same way, except substitute the butterscotch chips for peanut putter chips and substitute the pecans for unsalted peanuts.

The second modification is you substitute the butterscotch chips for white chocolate chips and substitute the pecans for black walnuts.

Follow the recipe as per the original with either one of those modifications and you're golden!
