35 grains of Longshot, Winchester 3" hull roll crimped, WW 209 primer, Gualandi slug and carrier, 50 pounds of wad pressure out of a Remington 11-87 rifled barrel with Leupold 2x7 at 75 yards.
Happy kid and some good venison.
He's a co-workers son, his first deer.
..............and yes, one shot.

I'm getting 5 shot 4" groups at 100 yards with this combo, with no fliers. The Gualandi really needs a 3" hull, I've loaded them in 2 3/4" but find the spire point is too close for comfort to the next primer in the magazine tube.

Excellent and congrats !

I was 12 when I got my first a doe as well I might add !

Also I used a 243 with factory Remington 100 grain CoreLokt's , one shot to the temple and she was DRT !

Of course I killed mine exactly 40 years ago now ;-)
