I normally just vacuum seal my jerky in bags, because it won't last long anyway. This year I sliced a whole deer (less the backstraps of course), made jerky, and bagged it up as usual. Does anyone see a problem tossing them in the freezer for longer storage?

Freezing jerky is the best way to keep it for long periods of time. Google "can I safely freeze jerky" for am authoritative answer.

Freezing is what you want to do for long term storage.
We vacuum seal it and into the freezer. If its going to be eaten in a couple months, then we dont bother vacuum sealing.

Will keep for near forever in the freezer. I make big batches and long term store in freezer...seems to work just fine and freezer doesn't affect the texture or taste near as I can tell. When I take a bag out of the freezer I do thaw it out in the refrigerator, but that's just the way I do it...no particular reason.

I've done it many times with bulk purchases of beef jerky. The same for keeping long term venison landjaegers
No issues at all.
