SKS 7.62 x 39 165 gr LEE TL w/ ALOX 1970 fps, range 20 yds. 11 point whitetail dropped in it's tracks. 127 lbs of meat in the freezer. Through and through 1 1/4" exit wound. Who said you can't hunt w/ cast boolits:mrgreen::mrgreen:

iirc the 7.62 -39 has about the same power as the 30-30so you can see that it has the killing punch
