Remember cast bullets don't like copper in the bore for best accuracy not sure about paper patch but I would guess it is the same.

Cast gets shot first, but I shot a group with the 335gr last weekend that was amazing, and it was after 15 rounds of the J bullets, I was surprised, no leading at all.

Maybe my #1 375 is different but I can alternate cast and copper with no problems.of course It's a 1.5" gun at best cast or jacketed.looks like a good weekend.

This was last weekend with cast in my Ruger M77 Alaskan in 375 Ruger, these were shot at 50 yards. The J word bullets turned in several groups at 100 and 200 that were less than 1".

A lot better then a hit from a 22.250 that's for sure.

Except the .22/250 will hit them at 400 yards.

Fired the paper patched bullets first, then the 350gr FNGC, and finally the 335gr RNFPGC, the big 350s loved the IMR4198, the 335s I think liked the Unique loads from last week better. The were all shot at 50 yards, and used IMR4198.
