I have a very old lyman pot that has begun to drip from the nozzle. what is the easy fix for this and does lyman still sell parts for these old pots?

It probably has gunk in the valve under the valve rod.
Empty the pot.
While it is hot, clean the downspout from the bottom up as clean as you can with the largest nail or paper clip you can force into the spout. You should be able to push the valve rod up with the cleaning device.

When you get it as clean as possible this way, let it cool completely.
Remove the valve handle and rod from the pot. This is a one screw operation.
That screw is on the boss at the top left of the pot that holds the handle in place.
now scrub the inside of the pot sides and bottom with the stiffest metal brush you can find.

When the inside of the pot is clean find whatever tool you can fit into the valve from the top and scrub it as clean as possible.
You should be able to look down into the top of the pot and see a completely round hole through the downspout.

Now chuck the valve rod in your electric drill, place it back into the valve and spin it for 30 seconds or so.

Now put it all back together.

I do this about twice a year.
