Using Fed GM hulls - 2 3/4"

Tried Fed S3 wads, Claybuster F114 wads, BP MG 42 wads

Cyl and full choke

9 pellets of nickel plated 00bk

Blown centers of pattern at 15 yds!

2-3 pellets on a 8x11 paper

Remembered Turbo making a suggestion to me.

Tried a BP GS2 seal with a hard waxed card and nitro cards to build up height, a teflon wrap, 9 pellets of bk and topped with an overshot card and 8 pt crimp.

Vertical shot string but all in a 6x8 area with a full choke.

I have loaded 9 pellets of 00 in 12S3 wad with one nitro card to build up height and 37 grains of HS-6. These proved to be good loads with surprisingly little recoil. However there was A LOT of unburnt and semi-burnt powder. Therefore I concluded that the load had too much cushion for such a slow burning powder. I am now going to make some with a reduced load of HS-6 (33-34 grains), BPGS, a 3/8 waxed spacer card, and a fed 12S4 wad. This will probably pattern relatively the same with hopefully increased ignition and efficiency. The problem with your last load is probably the teflon wrap... If you find a good wad that will fit, the vertical stringing may get better. Just my humble two cents.
