Some of my 310 dies have numbers stamped on them. The plugs in expander dies for instance. But the numbers don't make sense as sizes. Does anyone know what they represent , or are they just left over from the assembly process?

(chuckle) I only remembered it because a friend recently gave me a Jr., so 310s are now of interest. This site is a gold mine of information. Sometimes I forget to look.

Those tables took a lot of work... I'm glad they're still getting some use. The number on top of the expander die plug should indicate the diameter of the bullet. If there is a number on the seating die plug it should correspond to the bullet nose design... you can look them up if they are still current... it should be the same as the top punch number. Don't forget that these dies work on the neck only, so it is possible to use the same die for calibers with similar neck diameters. PM me if you need any further info.

gmsharps, as you get that batch of dies sorted out, there are still a few on my personal shopping list if you have some that are duplicates or unwanted.
