Abused bore

I was just gifted with an in front loading arm of the inline persuasion (can't bring myself to call them muzzle loaders) that the owner shot with pyrodex and left in the closet for a year.:(

The bore looks like you would expect it to look like. Any advice on rescueing this beast? I don't know what it ever did to deserve this treatment. I have it in ICU with the bore wet with Ed's Red right now.

I hope to trade this beast on a Marlin.

Friend sold me a Traditions inline for $40 because he needed the cash. He shot it with Clean Shot three years ago and never cleaned it. Wanted to cry when I looked down the bore and couldn't see any rifling left and everything was black.
I used steel wool and a Scotch Brite pad to remove the rust and junk and it looks like new. :drinks:
