Load was 17g of WC820, for 1184 fps, boolit was cast from WW+1%tin. Gun was 5" Classic DX. Boolit performed well. More details on "Hunting with Cast Boolits" area on this site.--Shuz

Been more than one horse get it in the back o the head thataway. (local definition of dumb) Heh, Heh! Really upsetting (no pun intended) to be aboard a dead horse going 30 mph I'd guess! Heh, Heh!

It bucked me off like a mule...The horn on the saddle was the only horny concern....and I shot her right after I removed my saddle.

I butchered the doe yesterday and was able to recover the boolit. It weighed 217.9g which is about 82% of original weight and had a diameter of .64". The boolit was lodged in the off side in the area near the scalpula. Evidently a small portion, of about 50g weight, broke off the nose and exited the deer, causing me to originally believe that the whole boolit had exited.--Shuz
