Large rifle trays are perfect for .224 cast bullets and shotshell primer trays hold 6.5mm bullets nicely.

Yeah. I put my 303 boolits nose down and spray with uht epoxy paint. leaves the nose clear but does the base nicely. Dont move them untill the second coat dries.

I use one for a coffee coaster on my reloading bench.

Not like that,, my boolits are all too big for that.

I just started. In case you didn't know, Tula trays don't work for it.

I use primer trays as a way to count steel shot when loading non-toxic loads. Steel shot charges usually are given in weight, but there's conversion charts to how may pellets are in a give ounce of shot. You then tape off the required holes, dip it into a cup full of shot, shake and then dump them into the shell. For smaller shot sizes, the large r/p trays will usually hold 2 pellets.

I make these neat little trays on a 3-D printer. they hold twenty-five boolits each. Smallest thing I cast is .30 caliber, so I make them .35 to take care of my thirties and 8mm's, and I make .48 for my .45's.

I just started casting for 22 and will have to try that out. However I do use 9mm, 40, and 45 plastic tray inserts taken out of the trash at the range for storing larger boolits that I have all lubed up.

Been scrounging the garbage cans at the range for years, use all sorts of trays and boxes.

How does one use primer trays to hold open trash bags?

I use my old factory round boxes to sort out my sized/flared/primed brass and another to hold my primed/charged waiting for boolits cases when I reload... but that is an intresting idea!

I see the trays but want to know about those L_O_N_G boolits in the back round??? Cool recycle idea.
