These Ideal 386179 blocks came in and my better 2/3's asked, "Are we gonna go to the gun show and get something to shoot it?"

How did I ever rate such a bride?

I think I married her sister. When I come home with a new gun, which is often, she looks it over and sometimes says we need another one just like it for her. She's just the opposite of the first one! Which is why I was more selective the second time around.......

Every time I bring a new one home the wife looks it over and states that it is hers, I get to go looking agin. she has more that I do , the only ones I get to keep are the Mags or big bores

I'm another one of those lucky son-of-a-guns that has a wonderful little wife that shoots and hunts with me! Count your lucky stars that you found such a good woman! Whenever a new gun comes into the door of our house she always asks me: "Is this one yours, mine or ours?"
:-)

Here is my "little darlin'" practicing on balloons at about 15 yards with my S&W Model 17 K-22. (... it's a video ... just click on the picture ...) That's my girl!

You have a 'keeper' Good Cheer.
Good women like that are not easy to find, and I really appreciate mine.

Nice shooting reverend, your lady has an air of confidence in her ability, I'd say she has done that before...... ;)

No, I'm happy to say that it's definitely not her "first time to the rodeo" ... and she does shoot "with conviction" as one of my buddies always says! After nearly 15 years of marriage to a shooting addicted husband she's been introduced to a bit of Skeet, some Trap, competitive Cowboy Action Shooting, and some general target pistol practice with both revolvers and semi-autos plus she's shot a variety of centre fire rifles and a bit of muzzle loading black powder as well. I've had her out in the field to hunt grouse and pheasants over a pointing dog and with a bit of luck next year we'll get her out to shoot her first deer. Oh, and when we got married nearly 15 years ago ... for our honeymoon we drove out to Alberta and shot gophers together! Yeah, this one is definitely a "keeper"!

Hmmm . . . when I bring a new one home . . . my wife just says . . . "Oh . . . . I get to go yarn shopping now!" :-) It works out fine though and has for the last 43 years . . . I'd be lost without her!

youse guys are making me sick!!!!

My dearest doesn't say too much about the guns, she even likes to shoot them; sometimes.

Of course, I don't give her a whole lotta reason to say too much. Can't say I hide them, but I don't really flaunt them either. When she finally gets to see them, I say "ahh, I 've had this one quite a while".

The right one sure is worth waiting for. Funny thing, when her father asked me why I wanted to marry her, well, I'd never asked myself that question. Somewhat in amazement at myself I told him, "Because I can't let her go."
When we were standing there with the pastor he was behind me whispering "It's not too late." When I said "I do" he said "Too late."
He and my mom-in-law were wonderful people. They raised a bunch of great kids.
