Should work fine if you keep your loads within the pressure limits of the TC. Contender I presume. J. D. Jones chambers an improved 225 Winchester-he calls it the .226 JDJ- in the Contender but he does not recommend firing factory ammo in it as pressures are to high.

Was just thinking the same thing for a .223 H&R that I dont like.

A 5.6 x 50 Rimmed can run 52,000 c.u.p. in a contender.
I have a Super 14 6 T/CU rechambered to 6 x 50R improved, it's fast, loud & accurate.

now I have this one in the bag, need a 22 wrm reamer to rechamber a 22lr to 22 magnum :)
