These little moulds will cast if you get them hot enough.

I got around to using a Lee 45 255gr mold I hand laying around. I followed the directions and lubed the parts. I put it in the melt for 45 seconds and started casting. Great Bullets and fast. I may be giving Lee a second chance.

Nice looking bullets, I have always had decent results with Lee molds actually I have had more grief with a series of RCBS molds. They are only $16 to $20 ea including handles just need to have realistic expectations. Brick house vs vinyl sided house in 100 years.

For what you pay I'm amazed they do well as they do. I had a customer once in the midwest with a little ammo company who purchased the 50 caliber bullet from us to load 50/70's with. Those moulds are close to 15 years old. They aren't used everyday like some of mine but still they've cast several bullets. I keep the little contact points & sprue cutters lubed well & use a gentle hand.

Are those for muzzle loaders? I'd think range lead might be too hard.

i have very little experience compared to the people here, but i really love the new style lee has switched to! they work so much better and can be treated a wee bit rougher without damage. i thought i would never buy higher end molds as that would be 4 lee molds, but the high end molds sure are nice!

These are for the standard brass cartridge case.
