I was very pleased to find no leading in any of my 44 magnum guns after firing a total of 600 rds. I cleaned them with what's left of my bottle of old No. 9 (still the Nitro formula). Ran a couple of clean patches to dry them. Then out comes the Lewis lead remover to complete the job." Not a sliver was found" on the screens in the Red hawk, Super Blackhawk, nor even the microgroove Marlin 1894. I've been casting from wheel weights and 10% 50/50 bar solder. I bought a special sizer die from RCBS at .4295, and Hornady gas checks. So far my best groups for handgun are coming from my 5 1/2" Redhawk, but I need to give the Marlin a more thorough test. I've got a Ruger 77/44 to pick-up on the 10th and I'm hoping it performs as well . 86685 10.5 grs Unique, rem 2 1/2 primer, Alox 50/50, 255 gr Lachmiller gc SWC.

Adjusted my grip after the 1st two rds, should have left well enough alone. For a handgun at 20 yds, I'll take it. Still under an 1 1/2".
