158g SWC with my Lee 2-cavity mould, NIB Lee 20lb pot, and some WW ingots I bought off Armslist. I brought my lead to about 900, turned the pot down to 650*, fluxed it! then proceeded to pour the homliest, ugliest, deformed bullets you'll ever see. I got better after 10 pours or so, but my first thought is total respect for the temperature the lead was, what I was doing, etc. After I felt confident and them added thoughts if actually pouring better. They got better. A lot better. Then, I moved to my 4-cavity mould for .44 Mag. I was much better at this point. I'll show them to my father in ICU tomorrow, as they'll surely raise his spirits listening to my experience. It doesn't take much.
I appreciate the info I've learned on here from y'all.
