TC locking lugs / bolts

I have an original frame with a 41 mag barrel that opens on shot. I suppose I need some new locking bolts or lugs....I have sent an email to bellum with no response...where esle can I get these?


Forgot to add I have called TC and they want me to send them the entire barrel and frame......no go

If you have any mechanical skills and a few correct tools it is not difficult to polish the bottom of the locking lug(s) to get a positive lock up with the original lugs or the "newer" split design lugs. If you want to try it just ask how. There is probably already a thread on how anyway that a "search" may find.

These lugs have been filed on before. they are boogered up......... I bought this barrel knowing this.

I had an old frame that was opening when I fired .44 Magnum. Sent it to TC and they replaced it with a new G2. Said it couldn't be fixed. I liked the trigger and ergo better on my old frame, but was not keen on the fact of it being an auto ejector.

I have 4 other barrels that work just fine on this frame....it's starting to look like you cannot by the lugs by themselves

I had a custom barrel that was opening on firing as well. I bought a set of the 2 pc. locking bolt from Match Grade Machine for about $15. plus shipping. Pricey, but sure got me back in business. They make a great barrel too, I own many of them!
