Yep, Erik. Besides a first-rate fellow he is a perfectionist. He has enlarged the driving bands on several molds for me and each one was perfection & exactly what I asked for. Excellent turn around time & reasonable prices also.

Erik has also converted several GC molds to plainbase for me.

The latest two were NEI molds which had overly large diameter GC heels which would not accept .30 cal. GCs unless the bases were chamfered individually with an outside deburring tool. This was a PITA, so he blended the rear driving band into the heel, creating an 8 degree bevel base, which avoids "finning" caused when the throat diameter base band is substantially larger than groove diameter. The modified bullets seat easily and shoot very well with appropriate light loads in my .30 cal. milsurps.
