What is 50/50

I have Alox, I have beeswax.

50/50 by weight or volume?

Either one will probably be fine, but I do it by weight.

I mix mine by weight. You may want to try a small batch first maybe 2 oz of each, see how it turns out and add more beeswax or Alox until it turns into what you want.
