Found a local saddle shop that also makes holsters. Talked to the guy Monday morning about a holster for my Taurus tracker .357
He called me at 4:00 Monday afternoon and said it was ready! He had said he could have it by Friday. I am very pleased with the results for one day turn around and a $60 price tag.

Pretty flimsy looking. :kidding:

Those saddle makers normally work in some pretty heavy leather. Not likely
you will wear that out any time soon.

You got that right Bill.
I'm thinking a nice leather leather holster for my Colt .22 target pistol next.
I can't find anything other than junky nylon holsters for .22's

Are Hunter or Brauer Brothers still making their nice, plain, inexpensive leather
holsters? I found them to be just great for .22s in years gone by.

Hunter still exists. http://www.huntercompany.com/HunterCatalog/index.html

Not sure about Brauer. They used to sponsor the Tin Cup Match in SE MO a couple
weeks prior to Bianchi Cup - same match, fun with a nice pig roast, too. Good warmup
for "The Cup".

Good field holster. Like the way it covers the trigger guard. Looks strong to me.
