375 Lead SWC in .500 s&w WW 231 10 grains??

Hi Guys,

Before I venture to try this .500 sw load I wanted to run it by the experts, my Lyman 375g LSWC, hornady brass, WLR primer and 10 grains of WW231 for nice slow 800-900 fps.

Has anyone tried this ?? Seems to make sense to me.... a fast powder in a big case, just looking for a nice target load on paper it looks okay ??

Hows it do in the real world..... oh yea .500 8 3/8 barrel length.

I shoot the 375 Lyman w/ 12-13 grains of unique. I get around 1150-1200 fps and it is a very easy shooting load in my 5" John Ross special. That should be a real light load in that 8" gun!
