Brother in law just picked up a ar5.7 and wants to load for it. I have a 225415 and no idea where to start. Just wondering how much luck people have had with with this caliber.

Not sure about cast bullet loads, I have loaded jacketed bullets. It is a tricky ctg to load for and you can
get into trouble easily. Accurate powder has data as well as ramshot.

I have read that the 5.7 handgun can take slightly higher pressures than the ps90.

My brother in law just bought a ar 5.7 and he wanted information on reloading it. I have never looked at this caliber but will be walking him through it. From what little i have found 55gr looks to be the max and if we can use cast and lower the pressure for a good plinking load then he will be happy

Playing with dynamite in loading the 5.7x28. It might work out better for you in the AR platform, but it's a serious pain in the back side to load for the FN.
