No. - But!

I do that with .357 / .38 handgun bullets and .429 44 mag bullets.

It significantly improves the accuracy.

There is no reason you couldn't do the same with .22 cal - except the dies will be more expensive.

I swage some plain lead boolits with gas checks from time to time and poke them along at 22lr velocitys in my 223.
the point form die I have makes them 228 and they have no lube groove so I have to push them through a sizer on my star and tumble lube them.
it's a lot of work to make 50 boolits for just mucking about with.
