I have used berry's bullets with their size of .356 I just noticed that Rainier bullets to.355 just like a jacketed bullet however they recommend loading to lead specifications. This seems to contradict.

My bore slugs at .356 and I find the berry's shoot well. Does anyone have experience with Rainier bullets and their sizing?

Rainier bullets seem to work well in 40s&w with my load they were very accurate (I used jacketed data) out to 50 yards. Not sure what size the berries were I bought for the wifes 380 but they shot well and were accurate as well(used jacketed data)out to 15 yards.

Never had any issues with either brand but..... if you shoot very much a boolit mold will be way cheaper.

Are the .355 and .356 both the same weight of bullet? One could be fore 38/358 other for 9mm/380.

Never understood taking good lead and adding copper.

Real 35 cal bullets should be .358" jacketed. The 9mm (.355")plated bullets might have been swagged at .355" before the copper coating was added, and that can easily add that .001".

Some of us can't shoot lead. My H&K P7 for instance, won't tolerate cast bullets. Plated bullets are cheaper than jacketed, and are available.
