2500 lube

Just my hunk of wax in today from white label . Should I slow melt this on a burner inside a stainless pan, and then pour it into the container the bullets will be in? I'm guessing the 200 degree mark is what your wanting to make this stuff melt. I'll be pan lubing these bullets.

I use a bain-marie for melting lube, it makes sure that the lube doesn't get scorched.

Easy enough to jury rig from a pan and a suitable container.

BTW 2500 is my go to lube.

I tried pouring melted lube into the pan WITH the boolits standing up in the pan, bad idea all around. It works better if you melt the lube in your boolit pan first then insert the boolits, let the lube cool remove them, then insert more in the hole that you just made. When I need a little more lube in the pan I just lay little bit somewhere in the pan with the new boolits and melt again.

I wouldn't use direct heat, 2500+ has exploded on me trying that.
I use a double boiler setup now, much safer :-)
