In 1918 my grampa's buddy ran right next to him after his head disappeared. We do what we were about.

I want to do the same thing. Cast the bullet and make the powder seems like it would just feel that much better.

It is! I've taken 2 so far with a parts gun and HM powder and Boolits. It is a BPCR though, not a flinchlock.

There's nothing like the thrill of taking a deer with a flintlock gun, especially one that's self built. I can't build but I make my own accoutrements and cast my own ball and cut the patches, myself.

congratulations for the muzzleloader kill and with a flinter makes for double honor. I haven't the nerve up yet to try the flintlock. I think I've done good just to use an old sidelock.

It is a thrill, isn't it? I've taken them with flinters too. Its much more satisfying than using a slug gun or HP rifle.

somebody else uses the line (roughy) meat from a gun you made and a ball you cast, dont get no better!!!!

Watch it. They say the punchline to any joke is the truth.
