Took a gray squirrel w/ the NOE 55 gr fp over 3.5 gr. BE in .223.
no meat damage, very effective.
Gearing up for deer season w/ the 7.62x54R and a 180 grain cast HP (Lee 312-185, Forster HP tool).
Am trying over 26 grains reloader 7.

I'm ready for deer season. I have a bunch of 50/50 mix #503 265gr SWC made up with some H110 for my .44 spl.

My dad is gonna use the Lee 430-310 for deer, w/ 2400 or W296 in a .44 carbine.

either powder will work.
18 grs of 2400 is pretty stout under that boolit but does the job.

Well if your hitting squirrels that and if your big squirrel gun shoots that well you should be filling the freezer.

Good Job! I hope you have as much luck on the big brown squirrels as well.
